Pilgrim Firs Camp & Retreat Center is conveniently located just 3 miles from the City of Port Orchard and about an hour and a half drive or relaxing ferry ride from downtown Seattle.

The easiest way to find us is by typing “Pilgrim Firs” into Google Maps or Apple Maps on your smartphone or car GPS and following the directions. If you are a bit more traditional, we have written instructions below on how to find us.

Take I-5 South and exit onto Hwy 16 toward Bremerton (just past the Tacoma Dome). Follow Hwy 16 for about 16 miles and take the Sedgewick exit. Turn left at the exit. At the stoplight where Sedgewick meets Sidney, stay in the middle lane and go straight (Chevron on the right, Safeway on the left). Drive about 3 miles, do not turn, and you’ll see the Pilgrim Firs sign on the left.

Take I-5 North and exit onto Hwy 16 towards Bremerton. Follow Hwy 16 for about 16 miles and take the Sedgewick exit. Turn left at the exit. At the stoplight where Sedgewick meets Sidney, stay in the middle lane and go straight (Chevron on the right, Safeway on the left). Drive about 3 miles, do not turn, and you’ll see the Pilgrim Firs sign on the left.

As you leave the ferry terminal, take the first left (across from the store). This will turn into Sedgwick Rd and lead you straight to Pilgrim Firs. Follow this road for about 10.5 miles, which will cross Highway 16, and go through 3 traffic lights near the highway. Continue straight. After you cross the highway, Sedgewick will turn into Glenwood, then Lake Flora. Drive about 3 miles, do not turn, and you’ll see the Pilgrim Firs sign on the left.

Take Hwy 3 down the Kitsap Peninsula, which will turn into Hwy 16 as you pass through Gorst. Stay on Hwy 16 until the Sedgewick exit. Turn right at the exit. You will go through 3 traffic lights, go straight through all of them. Drive for about 3 miles, do not turn, and you’ll see the Pilgrim Firs sign on the left.

Plan for up to 3 hours between your landing at SEATAC and your arrival at Pilgrim Firs. The Kitsap Airporter (www.kitsapairporter.com) is a shuttle service that runs hourly between SEATAC and Port Orchard, taking about an hour depending on traffic. It drops off at the Union 76 station in Port Orchard, just 3 miles from camp – a quick taxi or ride-share away. Alternatively, arrange for someone in your group to pick you up. Note: Return trips on the Airporter require a reservation made 24-hours in advance.

Take I-90 West to Hwy 18 South to I-5 South. Exit from I-5 South onto Hwy 16 towards Bremerton. Follow Hwy 16 for about 16 miles and take the Sedgewick exit. Turn left at the exit.
